As part of ITU’s 150th anniversary on the theme “150 years of innovating together”, we’ve created a map highlighting 150 Young Innovators and their ideas. These are young social entrepreneurs from all over the world who are using technology to meet developmental challenges and improve lives – and who have taken part in the ITU Telecom Young Innovators Competition or the Call for Innovations for the Lab at ITU Telecom World over the past five years. The current map is just a starting point: we hope that these ideas will inspire many more bright young minds from all over the world to keep thinking differently and try to better their communities.
