Description: Cognizant of the importance of ITU’s work, the Russian Federation is planning to organize a number of events in 2015 to mark the Union’s 150th anniversary. For example, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the founding of ITU, the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (RCC) will be holding the 50th meeting of the Board of Heads of RCC administrations on 8 May in Moscow. Also in honour of ITU’s 150th anniversary, the Eighth International Youth Forum on the theme “Information Technologies in the World of Communications” is planned for around the second week of May. Students and young specialists from the RCC countries with experience of implementing ICT projects will take part.
