ITU Kaleidoscope 2015: Trust in the Information Society is the seventh series of peer-reviewed academic conferences organized by ITU that bring together a wide range of views from universities, industry and research institutions of different fields. The aim of Kaleidoscope conferences is to identify emerging developments in ICTs and, in particular, areas in need of international standards.

Description: ITU Kaleidoscope 2015: Trust in the Information Society is the seventh series of peer-reviewed academic conferences organized by ITU that bring together a wide range of views from universities, industry and research institutions of different fields. The aim of Kaleidoscope conferences is to identify emerging developments in ICTs and, in particular, areas in need of international standards.
Kaleidoscope 2015: Trust in the Information Society will analyze means of building information infrastructures deserving our trust. The event will highlight ideas and research that will help ensure the Information Society’s growth in inclusivity and sustainability thanks to its trusted foundations.
Accepted and presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings and submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore. The best papers will also be evaluated for potential publication in IEEE Communications Magazine and other international journals.
A prize fund totaling $10,000 will be awarded to the three best papers. Young Author Recognition certificates will also be issued.

Partners: K-2015 is hosted by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain; technically co-sponsored by IEEE, IEEE ComSoc, and the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers of Japan. Partners of the conference are Waseda University (Japan), Institute of Image Electronics Engineers of Japan, European Academy for Standardization, University of the Basque Country (Spain), Universidad Politecnica de Cartagena (Spain), and the Chair of Communication and Distributed Systems at RWTCH Aachen University (Germany).
