Description: IARU are incorporating the ITU 150th Anniversary into their yearly event, the IARU World Amateur Radio Day. This event is celebrated each year on 18 April. It consists of amateur radio demonstrations and distribution of materials explaining amateur radio and the contribution of amateur radio in disaster preparedness, mitigation and response.
